Econa uses ECONYL® 100% regenerated nylon yarn, reborn as new from waste including discarded fishing nets, industrial waste and old carpets that would otherwise be pollutants. ECONYL® is a cradle-to-cradle product, which means it is endlessly recyclable in a closed loop. Making carpet locally reduces carbon impact, as importing the yarn rather than ready-made soft flooring means less volume and less weight to transport. It also means supporting local manufacturers – a win/win in our book.

Econa cut pile broadloom/roll carpet is available in 2 weights: 48oz (6kg) or 64oz (8kg).

The regenerated nylon yarn is solution-dyed, so it is as durable, stain-resistant, colourfast and UV-resistant as you’d expect.

The Econa cut-pile yarn is a tight twist, reducing tracking and shading compared to loose-cut pile carpets while retaining a sense of softness and luxury.

The luxe appearance and high performance of Econa broadloom make it ideal for residential, multi-residential and light commercial interior projects.

There are 8 colours in the palette, 4 warm and 4 cooler tones, in shades from cream to deep earth, and shades of grey through to black.

Econa is held in stock in Auckland, meaning short lead-time projects are no issue.
