Bringing symbols of nature inside in the most beautiful way, the Apis collection draws inspiration from honeycomb – Apis being Latin for bees. A design collaboration between Fletco and Yo2, Apis celebrates the importance of bees to nature’s biodiversity.
3 DESIGNS
Apis carpet tiles are a woven loop pile in three designs that move from the organic tones of Alpha, through Beta, the transition tile that introduces the geometry of honeycomb, to Gamma, the design with the most distinct pattern.
4 SHAPES
Each commercial carpet tile in the collection works together across modular shapes and scales, designed to be laid randomly:
Square tiles: 50cm x 50cm / 100cm x 100cm
Planks: 50cm x 100cm / 25cm x 100cm
7 COLOURS
The shifting palette comprises a blue, green, 2 earth colours and 3 shades of monochrome -black, dark grey and light grey.
DESIGN PROCESS
Apis offers endless possibilities for unique combinations within the modular system, designs and colourways. First, choose your colourway, then your design and next your shape. Tiles are not numbered, and are designed to be laid randomly.
