Højer has its origins in 1878 as a spinning and dye mill that processed wool from the local farmers. Diversifying in 1899 to produce yarn and clothing, it is one of the oldest such factories in Denmark. In the 1920’s Højer tentatively reinvented again, beginning what soon became a roaring success, expanding into making carpets.
A century later, now part of the Fletco Group, Højer Kontrakt is the only range for Fletco created from 80% woven new wool. We can proudly say 70% of that is New Zealand wool. Being a woven loop pile product, and with the combination of 20% nylon, this low-profile design is classified as a heavy commercial carpet, even suitable for stairs and chair castors.
Højer Kontrakt is PVC-free, comes in 12 colours, in 4 metre-wide rolls with textile or felt backing, and very much fits into the Scandinavian aesthetic of the Fletco family of woven carpets.
